About Alyssa
Troquille
Alyssa Troquille (she/her) writes contemporary novels for teens. She holds a BA in creative writing from Wright State University located in her hometown of Dayton, Ohio. She once wrote a short story about a dead raccoon named Leonard, which won Best Short Story and was published in Wright State's literary magazine, Nexus.
She currently lives in the village of Yellow Springs, Ohio with her husband & two children.
Alyssa's favorite authors include Laura Ruby, Erin Morgenstern, Sally Rooney, Paul Auster, Angie Thomas, Emily Henry, Tracy Deonn and Liane Moriarty. She is currently seeking representation for her completed manuscript entitled Wren Periwinkle & What She Found There (69,000 words). To learn more, click here.
